i was havin a smoke
i heard it on the news
but i thought it was a joke
then i heard a loud crash
it was my roof caving in
there was the creature giving me an evil grin

i was in my truck
stuck on the highway, just my luck
it came out o' nowhere
started eatin up cars
kicked in a bunch of buildings including my favorite bars
i saw the creature
what a horrible sight
i'll never forget the things that happened that night
it took my baby from his bed
then it gave him back but he was missing his head
i saw the creature
such an ugly thing
it took my parrot and my mom's wedding ring
the parrot was mine but now its dead
and my mom has no way to remember the day she was wed
